Profession of Faith

What do eating lemons, spelling tests, wedding cake, stickers and balloons all have in common? They are all part of the “kid friendly” curriculum developed here at Knox to help children understand what it means to profess their faith in Jesus Christ and to begin to participate in the sacraments.

This class was born out of a desire for children to have a clear and deep understanding of these profound means of grace. Using interactive illustrations, simple skits, and storytelling the children are presented with such concepts as the fall of mankind in Adam; the substitutionary atonement of Christ Jesus - the second Adam; and the sacraments of baptism and communion as signs and seals of God’s covenant promises to His people.

This 1 day (4 hour) class is offered annually in early spring and held at Knox on a Saturday. Contact Barb Paternoster for more information.
